B2b Meetings - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. 30 minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.
The workflow in detail
1) Registration (until 15 Nov 2022)
- Click the "Register now" button on the right and follow the registration steps
- When registering for virtual sessions, set your time zone (your individual event agenda will be set by the system based on this information).
- Add contact and organisation details as requested.
Note: To make sure that you really receive all relevant information to this event, it is important to use a valid e-mail address which you regularly check.
Plan your Attendance
Choose time slots your can allocate for the b2b meetings, on-site and/or online. The more sessions you select, the more opportunities of meetings you will have.
See the sessions forseen in the Agenda entry of the menu.
2) Complete your COMPANY PROFILE
- Introduce your company by a clear organisation description, in English.
- Once activated by the organisers, your business profile will be visible to all participants, even after the event, and should help them to identify you as a potential partner. It is your online business card: spend some minutes to create a meaningful and attractive profile!
- Complete your profile specifying what you are offering/looking for (MARKETPLACE section).
At least one Marketplace entry is required for profile validation.

You can update your profile, attendance, account settings and add other Marketplace entries at any given time
3) Selection of bilateral meetings
As soon as your profile is activated by the organizers, you can start to actively request meetings (as "Host") as well as receive requests from other participants (as "Guest").
Booking meetings
- After Login, browse through the list of participants or check the marketplace profiles to identify suitable partners, using the optional filters to easily find the ones aligned with your goals (the left column of the Participants page)
- Click on the participant name in order to see profile details and request meetings clicking on "book meeting"
- Participants receive an email notification when they have been selected, and they have to accept or refuse every meeting request.
- Meeting requests must be confirmed by the recipient to be scheduled
- Date and time of a meeting are scheduled by the person accepting the meeting request, considering the mutual availability (shown by the system); however changes are always possible.
Your personal meeting schedule (your Agenda)
Your up-to-date meeting schedule will be visible at any time in your online Agenda and Meetings tab on your personal area, after Login.
You can add further meetings any time but please be aware that:
- The number of possible meetings depends on how many sessions were selected during the registration phase: the greater the availability, the greater the number of possible meetings
- Bookings are assigned after the "First Come - First Served" principle
- If necessary give priority to transnational meetings
- Further profiles could be added after your last visit, therefore: check regularly the participant list
You will receive your meeting schedule (day & time, participant to meet, and table number - for the on-site sessions) the day before the event, but please, check always the very last version online.
Sending messages to other participants
Participants can get in touch and exchange messages through this platform, once they have booked a meeting
4) The matchmaking event
The B2blue matchmaking event will take place in an hybrid modality. This means that meetings can be
ON-SITE: participants that will be present at Sealogy fair can meet each other physically in EEN b2b area.
ONLINE: participants that will not attend the physical event, can anyway arrange virtual meetings with participants on site (and viceversa).
Therefore, it is important for on-site participants to equip themselves with a personal mobile device, in order to make meetings with virtual participants possible (we can provide you one, if necessary).
Note: if you have registered as on-site participant, but you cannot attend the fair, you can switch to REMOTE participant typology, and vicecersa.
You will be able to arrange meetings throughout the duration of matchmaking event.
ON-SITE MEETINGS at Sealogy 2022
- Come to the Reception of the b2b event and sign the attendance list every day you have meetings: it is important both for the organiser and for other participants to know if you are there or not.
- Be at the Brokerage Event location at least 10 minutes before your meeting.
- Please respect time and number of table for each meeting
VIRTUAL MEETINGS online
- The virtual meetings take place through the b2match video tool, which is integrated in the b2match platform and it doesn’t need to/it can't be downloaded. Note: Video call meetings can NOT be managed via the b2match Mobile App
- Please make sure you use Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser (avoid Internet Explorer)
- Before the event, test your webcam and microphone (Without the camera, the meeting can still take place in the audio mode): please go to your "Meetings" and click on the green camera button "Meeting starts in ..." ; this will open the video call feature and you should be able to see yourself.
- At the moment of the online meetings, access the b2match web platform (My Agenda) 5-10 minutes in advance and press the START BUTTON to start your scheduled meeting.
Important to remember before meetings
- Check the latest version of your meeting schedule
- Be respectful towards the other participants' time and show up to all your meetings
- If you have any problem, contact the organisers and inform your counterpart.
